Legal Graduate / Early Career Lawyer
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time law graduate or early career lawyer, with a keen interest in Commercial Law, to join our team in Townsville.
This role will suit an ambitious young professional with a desire to learn through first-hand experience working on a variety of challenging and interesting legal matters. You will work closely with our highly experienced senior lawyers across a range of commercial areas including property, succession law, agribusiness and corporate law. You will receive daily coaching and mentoring so that you will soon be running smaller matters in your own right.
The successful applicant must have a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. To be successful in this role you will:

Family Lawyer
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a family lawyer to join our team in Townsville. This role will suit an ambitious lawyer who wants to be challenged, is looking for an opportunity for growth and a clear career pathway.
Our family law team has experience in all aspects of family law and a large (and growing) client base. You will work closely with our highly experienced senior family lawyer both assisting and managing your own case load, while working in a supportive team environment.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- 4+ years PAE
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to operate autonomously while maintaining a team focus
- A high level of computer literacy
- A positive and self-motivated attitude
- LawMaster experience would be advantageous, but not essential

Commercial Lawyer
The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a senior commercial lawyer (5 + years post-admission) to join our team, working in either Townsville or Ingham. This role will suit an ambitious lawyer who wants to be challenged, is looking for an opportunity for growth and a clear career pathway. As a senior lawyer, you will conduct files from beginning to end and will delegate to and supervise junior lawyers and support staff. You will work closely with our highly experienced Principals and play an important role in the day to day running of our commercial practice. You will have the ability to expand on your existing practice or quickly build up a practice across a broad range of commercial areas including property, estate and succession planning, agribusiness and corporate law.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Proven experience working as a lawyer across a range of commercial areas;
- Proven ability to run matters independently, manage workflows and supervise junior lawyers;
- The ability to work as a productive member of a close-knit team;
- A client focused mindset and a demonstrated ability to form lasting relationships;
- To be accountable and work well under pressure; and
